I was in many fandoms, and I must confess that I never liked AU stories, because it's almost always just the use of the names of the characters (real or fictional) without their personalities. But in this case you captured their personalities, their qualities brilliantly. And I love this Ryan - with his shallowness and deepness, you captured him perfectly and made him very interesting and engaging. And I also liked how you interwined the reality of their lives (American Idol, red carpet) and manifestations of absolutely different moment in history. Dialogs are amazing, especially between Ryan and Simon (of course), and between Ryan and Joel (who is also perfectly captured in this story). And I don't even start on how amazingly sexy this story is - despite it's innocent rating. You can cut the sexual tension between these two with a knife. This is unbelievably good, I can't wait for next chapter.
