He'd needed Blake to draw him a map of the little corner of Bank street that he lived on, and even with that he didn't quite understand how west 4th street could ever cross west 12th street,
DUDE, out-of-towners from the 60's are NOT alone in this. I always leave an hour for myself to get completely lost if I'm walking in the village because for the LIFE of my I can't navigate through there. :P

A blond head popped from around the corner. "So I was thinking, I decided to make an Italian dinner, and you know it always splatters, so since it's just us let's eat in our undershirts and keep our shirts clean for the club."
*snicker* "So I was thinking, I decided I wanted to fuck you tonight and the easiest way to do this is make a lame excuse so I can get you at least partially naked in my kitchen. You know, since it's just us." GOD I have bad thoughts sometimes. XD

And the boys' thoughts on the music industry and the little hints and name-drops...I'm just adoring it all. You really make me want to go out and research more, just by sprinkling in those little bits of information into the pot, and that really shows your effectiveness as a writer.

And the Rymon! XD I swear, you and Allyson and with a little help from [livejournal.com profile] lessthangreat I am more than aware of the canon-ness of Rymon and the many, many ways you can spin it. I know we say that Cake are crappy ninjas, but Ryan and Simon don't even wish to try anymore. I wonder why more people don't see it, it's so obvious it's almost painful.

And I love how you bring a whole lot of things full-circle in the last part: the fact that Chris and Blake are only Chris and Blake to each other, that they're only Chris and Blake to each other and something different to everyone else. It's so telling of their situations, both in your fic and outside of your fic. This scene is beautiful because it's not trying to be anything else than what it is: no flowery language, no OOC-ness. I'm absolutely in love with how you wrote that whole scene. And bringing it back to Chris's observation of Blake from Times Square - now that was just brilliant.
