So I'm going through and just reading Cake fics that I never had the chance to read before now. So sorry this comment is so random and like three years too late.
I just... if you knew how much I loved the combination of your Cake and Rymon, you'd just explode with joy, I'm sure. I truly do like the combo, whether it's more Cake or more Rymon. It's always absolutely wonderful!
This story was so wonderful, so well written, such a pure joy for me to just sigh happily with. For me, that's always the best feeling. I can take the angst, the drama, the good sex, and everything, but when I just get that fuzzy, warm feeling in my stomach from reading a story, from feeling emotions, it's always the best feeling.
And, if anything, this story is a sure-fire reminder that I truly miss you writing Cake. Like seriously. Come back to the dark side sweetheart.
