What a beautifully quiet, respectful, honest vignette about life, and relationships, and what it's like to live with an artist. You've written such an understated and powerful set of scenes, here... very nicely done, envisioning these two as a couple at this point in their lives, and in their careers. What jumped out at me as sounding quintessentially Seamus, who I see as someone who's very insightful (but not necessarily about himself!) was this phrase: he felt too raw even for that, and his was a dangerous mood for Firewhiskey.
