i do like the point about progress and so on. i didn't get into any of that seriously in the 80s fic, though i couldn't resist having one of the guys say that the comeback of pro wrestling would never happen, but it's true, the heroes are always so prescient and it would be more interesting, on topics less black and white than fascism, if things were more nuanced.
