Omg, Ryan is so hot in this story! I love that description of him--he's so shallow and cares about shallow things...but underneath he's a rock! But he had me when he described his first trip overseas with his spinster aunt.
The banter totally had me laughing out loud. Ryan and Simon, so saucy. But especially because I bought that this was their first meeting and Simon had been ruling that radio station with his barrel chest for *years* and then this pretty boy Yank shows up and totally blindsides him! And Nigel kind of set him up, too, with his book. Ha!
Oh, and I love Paul and Randy's show, first because it just sounded awesome, but second because it's so Ryan's type of show with the spectacle!
I found one typo, I think:
"I'm hope you don't think I was out of line."
Should be either "I hope you don't..." or "I'm hoping you don't..."
You know I watch a lot of movies from this time period, and the Hollywood parts especially made me feel like I was in one.
Oh, and I love that Ryan is working at NBC because I'm pretty sure my grandfather was working there by then.:-D
