I do feel bad for Ryan here; he's so sad and Simon is so desperate and it's such a mess.

Part of what made this story interesting for me was how different Blake's options are and therefore how different I think his choices would have been, and then later Chris, though Chris doesn't seem to be so obviously headstrong as Blake does. But I think in the end Chris gets to the same place.
