I am so completely intrigued by how Dean could have painted himself in the portrait of the two of them. Magic, I suppose! :D

I think this rings very true of most couples - what we present to the outside world and what we save for each other. And it's very easy to fall into the idea that the public side is somehow more glamorous or special than what we save for private. Even the strongest people can have self-doubt.
