Seriously. WHY would someone break up a "date" between two people unless he wanted one for himself(even if he didn't want to admit it.)? Unless he is just an unbelievable asshole. Because, so what that he is feeding her lines that are corny, and that she would have regretted it? What would it matter to him? Very wierd story.
I often wonder if it's a bit made up to explain why they not only shared a hotel suite, but that they actually switched hotels to share a hotel suite. "It's okay. Because there were girls there and we went to a strip club."
It could have happened like that. Just like written or with Simon leaving out some good stuff.
It would be funny if Ryan had actually said those corny lines to Simon, too. With the exeption of "Your eyes are the color of the ocean." Beacause that wouldn't fit. ;)
